Suara.com – Menteri Perindustrian Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita dijadwalkan menggelar rapat pimpinan internal untuk membahas proposal investasi Apple yang masuk ke Kemenperin sebesar 100 juta dolar AS besok pagi di Kantor Kementerian Perindustrian Jakarta.
Juru Bicara Kemenperin Febri Hendri Antoni Arief mengatakan rapat tersebut merupakan upaya gerak cepat yang dilakukan oleh Menperin Agus Gumiwang dalam merespons proposal Apple yang masuk ke pihaknya.
“Gerak cepat pak Menperin gelar rapat pimpinan bahas proposal Apple 100 juta dolar AS besok pagi,” kata Febri dikutip Antara, Rabu (20/11/2024).
Lebih lanjut, Febri mengatakan belum mengetahui tepat pukul berapa rapat tersebut digelar.

Selain itu, Febri menyatakan pihaknya menerima proposal investasi 100 juta dolar AS dari pihak Apple pada Selasa (19/11). “Kemarin tanggal 19 November,” ujarnya.
Diketahui sebelumnya produk terbaru Apple yakni iPhone 16 hingga saat ini belum bisa dipasarkan secara domestik di tanah air. Hal tersebut karena produk tersebut tidak mengantongi sertifikat Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN) yang merupakan syarat mutlak untuk bisa diperjualbelikan di Indonesia.
Alasan pihak Kemenperin belum memberikan sertifikasi tersebut karena perusahaan besar bidang teknologi asal Amerika Serikat itu belum merealisasikan sisa komitmen investasi sebesar Rp300 miliar, serta menilai angka investasi yang diberikan Apple tidak sesuai dengan keuntungan yang didapatkan dari penjualan di pasar domestik.

Not Apple, Samsung still leads the global smartphone market
Bloomberg Technoz, Jakarta - Samsung Electronics Co Ltd continues to lead the electronics market through mobile phone (HP) or smartphone products, beating Apple Inc's market share with its iPhone series.
