Salah satu aksi terbaru adalah penyitaan 102 unit iPhone, termasuk iPhone 16 yang saat ini masih dinyatakan ilegal untuk diperjualbelikan di Indonesia.
Penemuan iPhone Ilegal dari Batam ke Jakarta
Direktur Jenderal Bea dan Cukai Kemenkeu, Askolani, mengungkapkan bahwa 102 unit iPhone tersebut berhasil diamankan saat dibawa dari Batam menuju Jakarta melalui Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta. Dalam konferensi pers, Askolani memastikan bahwa seluruh barang hasil sitaan dari aksi penyelundupan ini tidak akan dilelang oleh Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Negara (DJKN), melainkan akan dimusnahkan sepenuhnya.

“Barang-barang itu kita musnahkan, tidak ada yang kita lelang. Semua kita musnahkan. Untuk menjaga industri kita dan menjaga ekonomi kita,” tegas Askolani dalam pernyataannya pada Jumat, 29 November 2024.

Melanggar Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan
Askolani menjelaskan bahwa iPhone 16 yang disita tersebut melanggar ketentuan Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan (Permendag) Nomor 08 Tahun 2024 tentang perubahan kebijakan impor. Barang-barang ini masuk ke Indonesia tanpa memenuhi kewajiban bea masuk yang seharusnya dibayarkan. Selain itu, penyelundupan dilakukan melalui berbagai modus, seperti barang bawaan penumpang atau pengiriman sebagai barang kiriman.
Langkah pemusnahan barang ini juga didukung oleh aturan dari Kementerian Perindustrian (Kemenperin), sebagai bagian dari upaya melindungi industri dalam negeri dan menjaga stabilitas ekonomi nasional.

“Tentunya kita juga konsisten bahwa risiko itu bukan hanya di Bandara Soetta, tetapi juga di bandara lain dimungkinkan,” ungkap Askolani. Ia menambahkan bahwa pencegahan ini sejalan dengan komitmen mendukung program prioritas nasional, termasuk Asta Cita Presiden Republik Indonesia.
