Bloomberg Technoz, Jakarta - Apple Inc, perusahaan teknologi besar asal Cupertino, California, Amerika Serikat (AS), resmi mengajukan proposal investasi senilai US$100 juta (sekitar Rp1,58 triliun) di Indonesia. Proposal sempat diubah dari US$10 juta menjadi hampir US$100 juta atau mengalami lompatan sekitar 10 kali lipat, yang kemudian menjadi nilai tawar baru Apple kepada Kementerian Perindustrian (Kemenperin). Hal ini sebagai bagian dari rencana ekspansinya di Indonesia, sekaligus rencana mereka agar pemerintah Indonesia mencabut larangan penjualan iPhone 16, yang jadwalnya tertunda karena perusahaan meraih sertifikat tingkat komponen dalam negeri (TKDN) — sebagai syarat menjual perangkat di dalam negeri.
