Investasi asing sering menjadi salah satu kunci untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu target pemerintah adalah menarik Apple Inc., raksasa teknologi asal Amerika Serikat, untuk berinvestasi dan membangun fasilitas manufaktur di Tanah Air. Namun, Direktur Eksekutif Center of Reform on Economics (CORE), Mohammad Faisal, menilai bahwa hanya menetapkan Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN) tidak cukup untuk memastikan dampak investasi yang berkelanjutan.
